Welcome to the Stakeholders & Partnerships Section

In late 2004, the Stakeholders & Partnerships Committee of Rx&D was created. Our mandate was to establish long-term, sustainable relationships with key third party groups, that create mutual benefits and to help enhance the understanding of the Industry and its contribution to innovation; excellence in health care and research; and economic development in Canada.

In a remarkably short time, we have worked hard to meet new organizations and individuals, understand their needs, share information and build relationships based on mutual respect and an exchange of ideas. Today, we are working on a collaborative basis with healthcare professionals, patient groups, the academic community and the business community to deliver a shared vision that combines the best health outcomes for Canadians with innovative research and economic growth.

This section of the website is meant to provide a glimpse into the various ways the brand-name pharmaceutical industry is partnering with others. As the work of the Committee continues to grow, so too will the content of this section. We invite you to learn more about our Guiding Principles and to broaden your own activities by working with us on projects that advance issues of mutual interest while contributing to the sustainability of the relationship.
