• Rx&D member companies employ more than 20,000 Canadians in good jobs based on innovation, with a huge growth potential for the future. Our employees generate approximately $4.5 billion annually for the Canadian economy.
   
• Taking into account jobs created in other sectors, Rx&D members are responsible for generating 100,000 jobs across Canada.
   
• In Quebec, more than 10,500 people are employed in our community. When jobs generated in other sectors are factored in, we support more than 50,000 jobs in the province.
   
• In Ontario, about 9,000 people are employed in our community. When jobs generated in other sectors are factored in, we support more than 34,000 jobs in the province.
   
• Our members also generate $3 billion in tax revenues, which help all levels of government fund schools, health care and other important services for Canadians.
