Statement from Russell Williams, President of Rx&D

“On this day, the 20th Anniversary of World AIDS Day, we recognize that while progress has been made in the battle against this pandemic, more needs to be done to prevent HIV/AIDS and provide treatment for patients no matter where they live.

“Currently, there are more than 90 medicines and vaccines in development to prevent and treat HIV infection. These potential new treatments, now in clinical trial stage or awaiting approval, include
